StudioCork products are warranted against defects for a one year period starting at order date. We are inspired to perfection, that’s why we guarantee our merchandise to be free of manufacturing defects.
However, if you feel something is amiss on an item purchased at www.studiocork.com, we vow to repair it at our cost.
If that item is eligible for our warranty policy and cannot be repaired, we will send an exact replacement. If we no longer have stock available for a replacement, we will issue a StudioCork gift card for the purchased price of the item or a refund.
Please note that because cork is a natural material, it will have subtle variations from item to item. The delivered item may differ slightly in color ad grain from the one presented at our website. Cork is a naturally stain and water resistant material, very easy to maintain and with a knack to age gracefully. However, we do recommend the regular use of a damp soft cloth, to keep it in perfect condition.
We do not offer cleaning, re-dying, refurbishing, or similar services.
Examples of qualifying manufacturing defects include problems with zipper construction, loose stitching or lining, or hardware malfunction. Please note our manufacturer's warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, neglect or accidents. Some examples of what is not covered under our manufacturer's warranty:
- Damage from adhesives
- Damage from pets
- Discoloration or dampness from storage or exposure
- Exposure to chemicals
- Improper care
- Lost or stolen items
- Scratches, spots, or marks from normal use
- Stains or color transfers
Repairs: After inspection, eligible items will be repaired within one week of receiving it.
Replacements: After inspection, a replacement item(s) will be issued and will be shipped. If your item fails to be in perfect condition, we will contact you with options to proceed.
Refunds: After inspection, the return is processed and a refund will be issued. You should see the credit on your account within 3 to 5 business days. If your item fails to meet our refund criteria, we will contact you with options to proceed.
Please note that as per company policy, the customer is responsible for shipping a product back to our warehouse in Portugal. All returned packages must be sent with a tracking number (packages can be sent without tracking at your own risk). Corkor cannot be held responsible for any returned packages.
